Introduction

Munga Eco-Lodge is an oasis of tranquility and natural beauty conveniently located at the southern edge of Livingstone, Zambia. The lodge comprising of five chalets, bar and lounge facilities. It is subtly integrated into the African bush (“Munga” means acacia tree) afro-centric in design, the buildings merge with their natural environment. Guests can relax under a canopy of trees, surrounded by thickets and grasses and may be serenaded by birds.

The lodge endeavours to operate in a sustainable manner. It has many innovative features that will appeal to the culture enthusiast and the environmentally-conscious tourist. These include use of rammed earth walls and thatched roofs for all the buildings. Most indoor fixtures were made by local artisans.

Days 2 - 3: Highlight ( Victoria Falls )

After breakfast embark on this exciting adventure to experience the glory of the "Mosi-oa-Tunya" as it is known by the locals meaning "The Smoke that Thunder". The Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, offers breath-taking views that are almost too spectacular and majestic to describe.
